Replace duty-only language with accomplishment language: what changed, how large it was, who benefited, and how the result was measured.
Reorder and feature your skills
- Open the Skills section and select Show all skills.
- Select the pencil or edit control.
- Look for Reorder, represented on some versions by stacked lines or a drag handle.
- Drag the most important skills toward the top.
- Prioritize skills that reinforce the roles and level you want next.
- Remove obsolete, duplicated, or distracting skills when appropriate.
LinkedIn may limit how many skills appear prominently. The goal is to ensure the first visible skills support your professional positioning rather than merely reflecting older tasks.
